Patience and consistency may not be for everyone. However, those two things are the main guidelines for Muhammad Raffi Iskandar Putra in his work. The student who is more familiarly called Raffi has made many brilliant achievements with his short film works. His hobby of watching movies has led him to explore the world of videography since he was in elementary school. From there <\/span>passion <\/span><\/i>Her passion and love for the world of film continued to grow until finally she decided to study Television and Film at Fikom Unpad in 2019. <\/span> <\/p>\n

Keep Working During the Pandemic<\/b><\/p>\n

Before Raffi had even finished his first year of university, the Covid-19 pandemic hit. Lecture activities on campus were canceled and many students returned to their respective homes, including Raffi. Disappointment and despair had been felt by Raffi, who at that time was enthusiastic about participating in production activities on campus. However, that didn’t stop him from falling into a slump. Tim Kecil dengan Karya yang Besar<\/b><\/p>\n

Raffi memiliki sebuah impian, di mana karyanya dapat ditonton dan dinikmati oleh orang banyak. Baginya,<\/span> Short on Cash<\/span><\/i> became his work that led him to achieve that dream. Top achievements <\/span>Short on Cash <\/span><\/i>tidak lepas dari kolaborasinya bersama teman-teman. Starting from a simple discussion with a group of friends for a college assignment, an original and unusual idea was created. Ide tersebut tercetus atas kepekaan terhadap isu sosial yang berkembang di masyarakat. <\/span>Short on Cash<\/span><\/i> depicts a variety of economic activities at various levels of society from the perspective of a two-thousand rupiah note.<\/span><\/p>\n

The production process of this short film took a lot of time and energy. The small production team means that everyone has to hold two or more jobdesk at once. In this small team, Raffi plays an important role as director. However, he still helped out the rest of the team. According to him, the production process is very draining. Akan tetapi, itu semua terbayar lunas dengan hasil yang sangat memuaskan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Via <\/span>Short on Cash<\/span><\/i>Raffi and his team received a lot of appreciation from various film festivals and competitions. Di antaranya adalah <\/span>Official Selection<\/span><\/i> UI Film Festival, <\/span>Official Selection <\/span><\/i>Sewon Screening, <\/span>Official Nominee <\/span><\/i>dan <\/span>Honorable Mention<\/span><\/i> Student World Impact Film Festival, <\/span>Official Selection<\/span><\/i> Lift-Off Global Network Session, <\/span>Official Selection<\/span><\/i> Brawijaya Film Festival, <\/span>Official Selection Top 30 Fiction Category<\/span><\/i> KPK Anti Corruption Film Festival, serta masih banyak lagi penghargaan lainnya yang didapatkan Raffi dan tim melalui <\/span>Short on Cash <\/span><\/i>pada tahun 2022 lalu. Saat ini, Raffi dan timnya tengah bekerja sama dengan KPK dalam pembuatan sekuel <\/span>Short on Cash <\/span><\/i>which carries the theme of anti-corruption.<\/span><\/p>\n

Self Exploration and <\/b>Have Fun<\/i><\/b> by Creating<\/b><\/p>\n

Not only working in the field of film, Raffi also likes to explore other forms of work, one of which is the <\/span>Radar Rada Podcast<\/span><\/i>. Bersama dua sahabatnya, Ibrahim dan Dzakwan, Raffi mengisi <\/span>podcast <\/span><\/i>with light-hearted chats that are full of laughter and humor. In addition to <\/span>podcast<\/span><\/i>, Raffi also created a special social media account to devote his passion to the world of racing on the account <\/span>Starting Grid<\/span><\/i> di Instagram. Meanwhile, the account <\/span>Kino Addict<\/span><\/i> menjadi tempat Raffi dan beberapa temannya berbagi informasi dan menulis ulasan tentang film yang telah ditontonnya. According to Raffi, exploring what he likes is a way to have fun and find happiness.<\/span><\/p>\n

The key to Raffi Iskandar’s work<\/b><\/p>\n

For Raffi, patience and consistency are the main keys to the spirit of work. Just like how he pursued videography since childhood until he decided to study Television and Film. Selain itu, memiliki lingkungan yang suportif merupakan anugerah tersendiri bagi Raffi. Raffi feels lucky to have friends who are always willing to help in the process so that he can create amazing works.
