
Public Relations Study Program Students Hold a Virtual Open House Public Relations Fikom Unpad
X-PRience 2021 held an Open House Public Relations Fikom Unpad event titled X-Plore: Know Public Relations More which was held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 virtually. This Open House event is also the culmination and closing of the entire series of X-Prience 2021 events. X-PRience 2021 is one of the activities organized by Public Relations students of Fikom Unpad in order to fulfill the assignment of the Public Relations Activity Management course.
The series of events from X-PRience 2021 began with holding a Live Instagram with the theme “Toxic Productivity” presented by Safira Audia who is a student majoring in Psychology Unpad. In this series, the speaker shared his knowledge and experiences about toxic productivity with the X-PRience2021 Live Instagram audience. The series of X-PRience 2021 activities will be followed by a Roadshow which will be held online. This roadshow aims to attract more high school participants’ attention through a brief presentation about the Public Relations of Fikom Unpad and the Public Relations Open House event itself.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations Open House event, named X-Plore: Know Public Relations More, was the culmination and closing of the X-PRience 2021 series of events. This event is in the form of a talk show attended by two speakers who have more experience in the field of Public Relations. The first session of this event was attended by Rahma Dwitri Meldi who is a 2018 student of Public Relations Fikom Unpad. In this session, he described how the learning environment in Public Relations was, what he got while being a Public Relations student, and how to become an active student in both academic and non-academic fields.
In the second session of the event, Zata Bening Awanis was presented as a speaker. He is also one of the alumni of Public Relations Fikom Unpad who is now working at McDonald’s as a Senior Communications. In this second session, he will discuss more about the practice of public relations and what PR needs to prepare when entering the world of work. (FA&DA)
