Comparative Study of Fikom Universitas Pertamina to Fikom Universitas Padjadjaran

The Faculty of Communication Science and Diplomacy of Pertamina University conducted a comparative study to the Faculty of Communication Science of Padjadjaran University on Monday, December 27, 2021. The Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Diplomacy of Pertamina University Dr. Dewi Hanggraeni, S.E., M.B.A and the lecturer team were welcomed by the Dean of Fikom Unpad Dr. Ir. Dadang Rahmat Hidayat, S.Sos., S.H., M.Si., Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Atwar Bajari, M.Si., and Dr. Jenny Ratna Suminar, M.Si, Managers, and Head of International Unit Dr. Elnovani Lusiana, S.Sos., M.Si in Oemi Room, Building 1, Fikom Unpad.

This comparative study was conducted in order to develop academics and improve the quality of Fikom Universitas Pertamina and aims to find out the management of students, human resources, study centers, quality assurance, journals, accreditation, and cooperation of Fikom Unpad.

The Dean of Fikom Unpad gave an explanation of the history, study programs, accreditation, study centers, study program enthusiasts and the management of lecturers and students at Fikom Unpad. Furthermore, the Deputy Dean of Fikom Unpad explained that Fikom is the manager of the largest Communication Science family, which has 10 study programs, Fikom also currently opens MBKM classes and has quite a lot of enthusiasts. Departments and Study Programs at Fikom have different roles and functions, departments have a role in developing human resources such as expertise, career paths, and lecturer rank, while study programs have a role in managing curriculum and students.

With this activity, it is hoped that cooperation between faculties can be established, where previously a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Rector of Pertamina University and the Rector of Padjadjaran University.
