New Year, New Spirit SMAN 10 Bogor Goes to Fikom Unpad Jatinangor
The Faculty of Communication Sciences of Universitas Padjadjaran received a visit from SMA Negeri 10 Bogor on Tuesday, January 10, 2022 at 10.00 WIB in the Postgraduate Auditorium of Fikom Unpad. Kunjungan ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan “Goes To Campus SMAN 10 Bogor” untuk menggali informasi mengenai perguruan tinggi khususnya di Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini berjumlah 100 orang yang terdiri dari guru dan siswa.
Manager of Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni Relations of Fikom Unpad Agus Setiaman, S.Sos., M.I.Kom in his speech welcomed teachers and students of SMAN 10 Bogor at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran. He revealed that Fikom Padjadjaran welcomed with open arms the enthusiasm of the students and teachers who were present in order to obtain information related to higher education, especially the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran. Therefore, it is hoped that through this activity students who are preparing to take part in the college entrance selection will get complete information regarding the description of studies and activities in higher education. It is hoped that this activity can also provide insight to SMAN 10 Bogor students regarding study programs at Fikom Unpad.
Furthermore, remarks were delivered by the deputy head of SMAN 10 Bogor, Mrs. Hj Euis, she expressed her gratitude to Fikom Unpad for the warm welcome given. The visit, which was carried out as a gathering, certainly aimed to open insights and build motivation for SMAN 10 Bogor students to continue their studies in college. Through this visit, the information obtained is certainly more accurate and the students are expected to be encouraged to continue their studies in college, one of which is at Fikom Unpad.
The next agenda was the screening of Fikom Unpad’s profile video and the delivery of material related to study programs, media, and student activities of Fikom Unpad by the Head of the Public Relations Laboratory Renata Anisa, S.Sos, M.M. In this session, it is hoped that the students who attend will get a detailed description of each study program at Fikom Unpad. So, when choosing a study program at Fikom Unpad, students already have sufficient insight regarding study programs at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University.
The activity continued with a discussion session related to academic information guided by Mr. Agus Setiaman. He conveyed information about new student admission pathways, scholarship programs, and Fikom Unpad curriculum. The entrance selection at Fikom Unpad is still the same as in previous years, namely through the SNBP (National Selection Based on Achievement), SNBT (National Selection Based on Test), achievement path, and SMUP (Padjadjaran University Entrance Selection) path. Then, the activity continued with a question and answer session and closed with the giving of souvenirs and a group photo session. (TC)
