
Fikom Unpad Students Triumph in Ajisaka Festival 2024: Making Great Achievements in Animal Conservation
Fikom Unpad students again made a proud record of achievement in the 2024 Ajisaka Festival. The Ajisaka Festival itself is a competency event in the field of communication which is at the national level and is organized by the Department of Communication Science, Gadjah Mada University. This time, the Ajisaka Festival took the theme of animal conservation with the title Samarthya Bhumi with six competition categories. The peak of the festival celebration took place on the campus of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, on March 21-24, 2024.
Eleven teams of Fikom Unpad delegates successfully became finalists of the Ajisaka Festival. Eight of them won in various competition categories. The Inside Akpro team won 1st place in the Prahasta (Pertarungan Humas Nusantara) category, which is a competition category. PR Campaign with the sub-theme “Protect the Sea, Protect the Biodiversity“. The team was chaired by Melanie Ramdhini Prasetya and consisted of Theresia Ardhita Indriani and Balize Mellandita Waryanto from the Communication Management Study Program.
Furthermore, in the Arjuna category (Ajang Citra Sejuta Warna) which is a competition category podcast competition with the sub-theme “Into the Forest: Safe the Home of the Wildlife”, The Earth Prime team won 2nd place. The team was led by Raden Roro Anindhita Aura and consisted of Arini Nurul Fajrin from the Public Relations Study Program.

Not only that, two teams won in the Nakula (Youth Research) competition category which is a popular research competition with the sub-theme “Terrestrial Wildlife Habitat Conservation: Media Roles, Challenges and Opportunities“, namely Team Nirbita from the Journalism Study Program and Team Nicole from the Media Production Management Study Program. The Nirbita Team, chaired by Nugraha with members Amanda Amelya Chandra and Ananda Hilma Azizah, successfully won 1st place. While the Nicole Team, chaired by Siti Arifa Rosa and members Arkhadies Hanif Medina and Aprilia Rachma, took 3rd place.
In the next category, Kresna (Kreasi Insan Sinema) which is a documentary film competition category with the sub-theme “Mother Nature is Calling: Capturing Wildlife at Stake“, Abipraya Production Team successfully won 1st place, shifting four other finalists. The team consists of the following members.

In the Sadewa competition category (Sayembara Dewa Pariwara), which is an advertising competition with the theme“Finding Balance: Between Human Prosperity and Wildlife“, Team Triumvicta, led by Aditya Nur Wahyana and his team members Irfani Nurul Azizah, Dreisagara Alna Syamaila, and Ella Fatasya Nur Rahmavika, won third place. Meanwhile, Team 8 Production House, led by Sanditya Zufar Buwono and with team members Muhammad Haikal Wildan Al Basith, Muhammad Fathan Dzaky, and Neo Tatsu Fadhillah, won second place. The two outstanding teams are students from the Media Production Management Study Program. In the Dewi Santika category (Parade of Communication Entrepreneurs of the Archipelago), which is a competition of business model competition with the sub-theme “Green Messaging: Innovation in Environmental Conservation and Sustainability
“The team was led by Kezia Patricia Hutagaol and consisted of Naura Najwandar and Sana Salsabila Hasaniputri from the Communication Management Study Program.
The achievement obtained by Fikom Unpad students cannot be separated from the hard work, dedication, and extraordinary abilities of each team member. This success also reflects the determination of Fikom Unpad to produce graduates who are superior and able to compete nationally. Congratulations to all Fikom Unpad teams who have made brilliant achievements in the 2024 Ajisaka Festival.
