Fikom Unpad Strengthens Partnership with Hanyang University: Study Abroad Opportunities and Delegation Visit Planned
The Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran (Fikom Unpad), through its Communication Studies Program, continues to expand its global engagement by fostering a strong partnership with Hanyang University (HYU), South Korea. This collaboration opens new horizons for Fikom Unpad students, particularly through the opportunity to study for one semester at HYU, one of Asia’s most prestigious universities, recognized for its excellence in communication, innovation, and technology.
As a follow-up to Fikom Unpad’s academic visit to HYU last October, Hanyang University is now preparing to visit Indonesia, specifically Universitas Padjadjaran.The HYU delegation, consisting of Mr. Jaehoon Jung (Director, International Relations Team), Ms. JeeAh Jung (Program Coordinator), and Ms. Emma Lim (Program Coordinator), will promote Hanyang’s international programs such as the Hanyang International Winter School, the Visiting Student Program, and the HOPE Program.
Their visit aims to strengthen collaboration opportunities, provide in-person information sessions for Unpad students, and further promote HYU’s Visiting Student Program—which aligns with the Communication Studies Department’s emphasis on study abroad experiences as part of its academic enrichment.
This initiative not only enhances students’ academic perspectives and global competencies but also contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 4: Quality Education, by ensuring greater access to high-quality international learning opportunities.
