Media & News Room Laboratory is one of the supporting laboratories for the activities of the academic community which is located on the 1st floor of the Postgraduate Fikom Unpad building. This room is focused on online -based activities and becomes a simulation of the newsroom in the field of journalism. In addition, the facilities are also used as a means of training on the use of the internet and Microsoft office in community service programs.
This laboratory is to support a number of courses in the Journalism Department, including:
- Print Media News Writing
- Typical Essay Writing
- In-depth news writing
- Reporting
- Radio Journalism
- Television Journalism
- Etc.
The laboratory has 20 units of personal computers (PCs), 2 production computers, 3 TVs, LCDs, and wifi. For reporting equipment provided 3 recorders, 3 DSLR cameras, 4 laptops, 3 clip ons, 3 tripods, audio visual mixer, and 3 backpacks to carry reporting equipment.
