“Class XI Educational Visit” SMAIT Nurul Fikri Depok
The Faculty of Communication Sciences of Universitas Padjadjaran received a visit from Nurul Fikri Integrated Islamic High School, Depok on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 09.00 WIB in the Postgraduate Auditorium of Fikom Unpad. This activity is in the framework of “Class XI Educational Visits” as a step to get information related to university entrance, especially at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. There were 67 participants who participated in this activity consisting of teachers and students.
Manager of Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni Relations of Fikom Unpad Agus Setiaman, S. Sos., M.I.Kom in his speech welcomed teachers and students of Nurul Fikri Depok Integrated Islamic High School at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran. He revealed in his speech that this activity was an honor for Fikom Unpad with the hope that through this visit it could provide an overview of studies and activities in higher education to students, especially regarding Fikom Unpad. The hope is that this visit can become a friendship that will continue in the future.
Furthermore, Mr. Muhammad Furqon as a representative of Nurul Fikri Depok Integrated Islamic High School expressed his gratitude to Fikom Unpad for the extraordinarily warm welcome. He said that previously there had been several alumni of SMAIT Nurul Fikri Depok who continued their studies at Fikom Unpad. So it is hoped that this visit can also be an opportunity to get more information and in the future more and more SMAIT Nurul Fikri Depok graduates will continue their education at Fikom Unpad.
The next agenda was the screening of Fikom Unpad’s profile video and the delivery of material related to study programs, media, and student activities of Fikom Unpad by the Head of the Public Relations Laboratory Renata Anisa, S.Sos, M.M. In the discussion session, Mr. Agus Setiaman also conveyed various information related to new student admissions, scholarship programs, and Fikom Unpad curriculum. “Actually, the opportunity is there, the key is also in the hands of the students themselves. Opportunities only come once. So make the most of the opportunity,” he said. The visit was followed by a discussion session accompanied by outstanding Fikom Unpad students and students in various academic and non-academic fields.
