Closing Ceremony of Pesta Rakyat Komunikasi: First Post-Pandemic Concert and First Deaf Friends Friendly Concert in Jatinangor
Jatinangor – Closing Ceremony of Pesta Rakyat Komunikasi is a work program of BEM Fikom Unpad Kabinet Aksinergi which was held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at PPBS Unpad field. The first post-pandemic concert held at Padjadjaran University featured Yura Yunita, Nidji, Reality Club, Feel Koplo, Basboi, and The Upstairs.
This concert was also used as a return to campus by two Fikom alumni, Yura Yunita and Basboi. Yura Yunita wore a kebaya with shades of Green and Yellow as a representation of Fikom’s colors. Meanwhile, Basboi took the stage wearing the jacket of the Communication Management student association. Both of them sang Fikom Song on stage to reminisce together.
The event, which was attended by more than 4000 spectators, carried the jargon #SemuaBisaBerpesta. Pesta Rakyat Komunikasi is committed to creating a deaf-friendly concert by presenting a sign language interpreter on stage. That way, #AllBisaPerpesta can be enjoyed by anyone, including deaf friends.
Previously, the main event of Pesta Rakyat Komunikasi was held in the form of a competition across study programs at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. The competitions are divided into three categories, namely Sports, Arts, and Communication. The sports contested include Basketball, Futsal, Badminton, Mobile Legends, Valorant, and Fifa. The art branch consists of painting, solo vocal, band, SFX make-up, photography, and fikom berkain. In the communication category, there are stand-up comedy, campaign, and creative copywriting competitions. (BEM)
