Field Assessment of the Institute for Self-Accreditation, Social, Political, Administrative, and Communication (LAMSPAK) for the Communication Science Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Communication Studies Unpad
The Communication Science Doctoral Study Program of the Faculty of Communication Unpad carried out field assessment activities from the Institute for Self-Accreditation, Social, Political, Administrative and Communication (LAMSPAK) on July 22-23, 2025 in the Oemi Abdurachman Room Fikom Unpad. This activity was attended by the Dean, Vice Dean, Head of Study Program, Manager, Head of Laboratory, Lecturer, accreditation team with assessors Prof. Prahastiwi Utari, Dra., M.Si., Ph.D. and Dr. Irwansyah, S.Sos., M.A.
The activity began with the opening and remarks from representatives of Universitas Padjadjaran Prof. Alya Nur Hasanah, S. Si., M. Si, who said that currently the LAMSPAK accreditation process was the first time carried out at Fikom Unpad. The hope is that the confirmation process carried out today from the assessors to the study program and to the study program organizing unit / UPS will get good results so that the accreditation process will be a step in the evaluation process for the better. As for what is expected by the university is that all study programs at Unpad have a big impact on society and what is obtained today can be useful for the world of education. Furthermore, the Dean of Fikom Unpad Prof. Dr. Dadang Rahmat Hidayat, S. Sos., SH., M. Si. said that this field assessment is an effort of the Faculty of Communication Sciences to become a superior education provider according to the vision of the university.
Assessor Prof. Prahastiwi said that there were several things that were noted regarding data that needed to be completed and had not been revealed from the field assessment, the assessors would only take pictures of the conditions in the Doctoral Study Program. Hopefully, this assessment activity will run smoothly with good results.
The next agenda is a confirmation session with the study program leadership unit, confirmation of FED data, internal quality assurance implementation session, accreditation team session, (middle) management session at UPPS, staff session, student session, alumni session, and external user session. The event continued on the second day Wednesday, July 23, 2025 with an agenda of visiting the laboratory, delivering feedback sessions, and signing the minutes of the field assessment. (DM)
