Fikom Unpad Students Achieve Great Achievements in Communication Week University of Indonesia 2023

Students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University have made another outstanding achievement. This time, good news came from Fikom Unpad students who participated in the Communication Week (Pekom) competition on May 11-14, 2023 at the University of Indonesia Depok campus. This annual competition is organized by the Communication Science Student Association of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. In this Communication Week, the theme was “Image Mediated Spectacle: Creating Powerful Messages” in the communication science-based competition.

In the PR Vaganza competition category, Fikom Unpad was represented by the Tap in Team. The team consisted of three students from the Public Relations study program, Janebethia Alice Riamelia, Nadira Armatia Alifah, and Nazhifah Zalfa. With their determination, they won third place in the competition category. The PR Vaganza category is a campaign proposal competition and press conference simulation with the theme “Embracing the Public Right to Break the Second-Hand Reality”.

Meanwhile, Team AAE represented Fikom Unpad in the Media Matters competition category. The AAE team won first place with three students from the Library and Information Science study program, Alfina Maharani, Andi Kamila Ariani, and Eza Alya. Media Matters itself is a competition category that raises the theme “Elevating the Power of the Unrepresented” by taking the form of scientific research in the field of media studies.

The victory of these two teams is expected to be an inspiration and motivation for all Fikom Unpad students to continue to take bold steps in achieving their hopes. Keep your spirits up and keep working. (TDF)
