Gathering at Lapangan Hijau: The “Pernah Persib” Team Competes with the Fikom Unpad Family
The roar of the crowd and the spirit of sportsmanship filled the Jati Unpad Sports Hall on Saturday morning, September 13, 2025. As part of the celebrations for its 65th anniversary, the Faculty of Communication Sciences at Padjadjaran University (Fikom Unpad) held a Friendly Match bringing together the Fikom Unpad Faculty and Staff Team (Doskar), the Fikom Unpad Alumni Association (IKA), and former Persib stars, who formed the “Pernah Persib” team.
The event, which took place from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM WIB, served as an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship among the entire Fikom Unpad family. The event was opened by the Dean of Fikom Unpad, Prof. Dr. Dadang Rahmat Hidayat, S.Sos., S.H., M.Si. In his speech, he said that this sporting event was part of the 13th Lustrum and 65th Anniversary celebrations of Fikom Unpad. “This event is a manifestation of our friendship through sports. We hope that we can all be happy, healthy, and safe,” he said.
The spirit of togetherness was also expressed by the Chairman of IKA Fikom Unpad, Hendri Satrio. “May this event further strengthen us as the Fikom Unpad family and run smoothly, because our goal is in line with the theme of the anniversary: ‘Harmony, Giving Meaning to the Country’,” he said.
The presence of former field stars in the “Pernah Persib” team added a new dimension to the Fikom Unpad Anniversary celebrations. The “Pernah Persib” team consists of:

On behalf of his colleagues, Jajang Nurjaman hopes that this match will be an entertaining event that strengthens friendships. “May this bond of friendship continue. Happy 65th anniversary to Fikom. May it continue to progress and be at the forefront,” said the former Persib coach, who is fondly known as Janur.
Match Schedule
This friendly match was held in a triangular system, where the three teams competed against each other in 30-minute matches officiated by nationally licensed referees. The “Pernah Persib” and Doskar Fikom teams started the first match. The match was won by the Pernah Persib team, which beat the Doskar Fikom team 4-1. The second match was between the “Pernah Persib” team and IKA Fikom, which was won by the Pernah Persib team with a score of 5-1.
Meanwhile, in the final match between Fikom Unpad teams, the Doskar team defeated the IKA Fikom team with a final score of 3-0. However, the final result was not the main objective. All players from the three teams demonstrated a spirit of friendship and joy throughout the matches.
At the end of the event, Zaenal Arif, one of Persib’s former star strikers, also extended his congratulations. “Happy 65th anniversary to FIKOM, may you always remain united and successful,” he concluded. (DM/TAH)
