Ilkom PSDKU Unpad Class of 2023 Explores Professional Communication Practices at Bobobox Indonesia
Pangandaran, March 9, 2025 – As part of their external practicum, students of the Communication Science Study Program (Ilkom) Universitas Padjadjaran PSDKU Pangandaran, Class of 2023, embarked on a professional learning visit to Bobox ID. The activity, held under the theme “Exploring Communication Practices in the Professional World,” aimed to provide students with firsthand insights into the dynamics of communication within an established creative industry.
During the visit, students were welcomed by the Bobobox team and introduced to the company’s core values, operational workflow, and strategic communication approaches. The session included a guided tour of the workspace, interactive discussions with key team members, and a presentation highlighting real-world applications of communication strategies in content creation, branding, and client relations.
According to the accompanying lecturer, this external practicum serves as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and its professional implementation. “By engaging directly with industry practitioners, students gain a better understanding of how communication theories are translated into actionable strategies that deliver tangible results,” she explained.
One of the students, SN, shared his experience: “Visiting Bobox ID opened my eyes to the creative yet structured processes behind professional communication. It gave me a clearer picture of what skills are needed to thrive in this field.”
This initiative supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by promoting hands-on, industry-based learning, and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by fostering skills aligned with the demands of the modern workforce.
Through such collaborations, Ilkom PSDKU Unpad continues to strengthen its commitment to preparing students for the realities of the communication profession, equipping them with both academic knowledge and practical experience to succeed in the professional world (GIAS).
