LSPR Institute of Communication and Business conducts Comparative Study to Fikom Unpad
The Faculty of Communication Sciences of Universitas Padjadjaran received a visit from the LSPR Institute of Communication and Business, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 13.00-15.30 WIB in Oemi Room Building 1 Fikom Unpad. This visit is a comparative study in order to improve the quality and quality of higher education. There were 12 participants who attended this visit. The visit was warmly welcomed by the Vice Dean of Fikom Unpad Prof. Dr. Atwar Bajari, M.Si, Dr. Jenny Ratna Suminar, M.Si, Head of Study Program and Manager.
Vice Dean of Fikom Unpad Prof. Dr. Atwar Bajari, M.Si. in his speech expressed his welcome to the Rector, Vice Deans, and Heads of Study Programs of LSPR Institute of Communication and Business who had attended the Faculty of Communication Science, Universitas Padjadjaran. This activity is carried out to improve friendship and discussion in order to improve the quality of higher education. Furthermore, Prof. Atwar explained the profile of Fikom Unpad which was shown in the form of a video.
Dr. Andre Ikhsano, M. Si as the Rector of the LSPR Institute of Communication and Business expressed his gratitude to Fikom Unpad for their extraordinary welcome. He explained the purpose and purpose of the visit to Fikom Unpad, namely in order to establish friendship and halal bihalal, the next is to learn a lot from Fikom Unpad as it is known that currently there are many high and powerful challenges for universities, starting from BAN PT national accreditation, international accreditation with various institutions with various different criteria, then rapid digitization, distance education or education. online is an obstacle, as well as the growing number of foreign universities in Indonesia and the relatively volatile regulations on private campuses.
This comparative study also discussed the implementation of teaching and learning activities via metaverse, MBKM,joint research, curriculum, learning system, and related to lecturers. The activity continued with discussion and questions and answers, giving souvenirs, and ending with a group photo. With this activity, it is hoped that cooperation between the LSPR Institute of Communication and Business and Fikom Unpad can be established in the future. (DM)
