
Halal Bihalal Fikom Unpad Celebrates and Celebrates Victory “Eid in the Frame of Harmony Towards Success in the New Normal Era”
The Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University held a Halal Bihalal event with the theme Celebrate and Gratitude for Victory “Eid in the Frame of Harmony Towards Success in the New Normal Era”, on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 09.30-12.00 WIB. The event was attended by lecturers, education staff, alumni and dharma women held in a hybrid manner in the Oemi Abdurachman room, Building 1 Fikom Unpad and through a zoom meeting.
Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University Dr. Dadang Rahmat HIdayat, S. Sos., SH., M. Si in his remarks expressed his gratitude because this is the first time since the pandemic period that we can gather in large numbers, although there are concerns but still maintain health protocols and hopefully the pandemic will become an endemic so that we can carry out activities as usual. Alhamdulillah, we have been fasting for one full month in the month of Ramadan, hopefully our Ramadan will always be the best Ramadan for all of us, he said. At the end of his remarks he apologized physically and mentally to the entire academic community and hoped that in the future we will be even better and be given blessings and be grateful that we can still do activities, hopefully we will always be given health.
Ronny Adhikarya, Ph.D as an alumnus of Fikom Unpad who also attended the halal bihalal event conveyed his apologies physically and mentally, he was touched because in this place he started his career in Communication Science and thanked Mrs. Oemi Abdurrachman because she was the one who opened the way when he was a student at level one. Even though I was only at Fikom for one and a half years, it was very memorable and there were so many valuable lessons and experiences that I brought to America, he said. At the end of his speech he conveyed a message to all attendees to never forget history and in the communication process the key is to use the successes and failures of those who have used it before us.
Furthermore, Prof. Dr. H. Deddy Mulyana in his speech explained that Halal Bihalal in the language of anthropology is a rite just like if we have a birthday, wedding anniversary or circumcision which continues to repeat only the frequency of time is different but the point is the same basically reducing our age as humans. He conveyed that we should reduce bad habits and increase good habits and whoever wants to have his life extended and his sustenance expanded then connect the relationship.
The event continued with the signing of the MOU between Fikom and R-Adihikarya “Niche Award (RANA)” Program, screening videos of Eid greetings from Fikom Unpad academicians who are at home and abroad, doorpize distribution, Musafakhah or greetings, and ending with eating together. (DM)
