Karina Rizqi Abelinda: Graduated with Honors in 3.5 Years and Succeeded in the Content Industry
Still think college should focus solely on academics? Meet Karina Rizqi Abelinda. A graduate of the Communication Management Study Program at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University, she proves that students can be academically successful while also being actively involved in creative work.

Karina, born in Jakarta on October 7, 2002, successfully completed her studies in 3.5 years with honors. Despite her busy schedule, she remains productive as a content creator in the fields of beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, with 45.6K followers on TikTok and 11.2K on Instagram. In addition, Karina is also active in teaching traditional dance and was once selected as None Jakarta.

Karina’s journey began with curiosity and the courage to try. She admits that she did not aim to graduate quickly or earn honors from the start. However, a supportive environment and a desire to challenge herself motivated her. She even used a vacation to Bali as an incentive to focus on completing her thesis.
For Karina, productivity is not just about time management, but also energy management. She enjoys being busy and always sees opportunities in every situation. Her job as a content creator gives her the flexibility to continue working while completing her studies.
Every activity Karina participates in becomes a learning opportunity. From college, she learns practical communication skills. From the world of content creation, she learns consistency and personal branding. From None Jakarta, she learns about representation and culture. Interestingly, Karina comes from a large family where everyone has been an Abang None.
Karina also emphasized the importance of a support system. She appreciated the support of her parents, partner, friends, and academic advisors. She mentioned Prof. Atwar and Ms. Ira as advisors who greatly helped facilitate the process of writing her thesis.

At the end of the interview, Karina shared an inspiring message: “Just do what you love. If you get the chance, go for it. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. That’s how you’ll figure out what you like and what you don’t like.”
The story of Karina Rizqi Abelinda proves that students can be academically successful while still pursuing their passions. The key is the courage to try and good energy management. (HSK)
