Fikom Unpad Warmly Welcomes the Visit of SMAIT As Syifa Subang and SMA Labschool Jakarta

Faculty of Communication Sciences Universitas Padjadjaran received a visit from SMAIT As-Syifa Boarding School Wanareja Subang and SMA Labschool Rawamangun Jakarta in the Auditorium Room of Fikom Unpad on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 09.30 WIB. The visit was attended by 140 participants including students and teachers from both schools. The purpose of this activity is as a place to exchange information for high school students who will prepare for public university entrance selection.

Head of the Public Relations Laboratory of Fikom Unpad Renata Anisa, S.Sos., M.M. in her speech welcomed the teachers and students who attended this visit. She also revealed that she hoped that through this visit not only information would be obtained by the students, but also could arouse their interest and enthusiasm to enroll at Fikom Unpad. Fikom Unpad will be very open and accept every visit from various schools.

Then representatives from SMAIT As-Syifa Boarding School expressed their gratitude to Fikom Unpad for the welcome that had been given on this first visit. He revealed that he hoped that through this activity there would be a lot of information obtained regarding college entrance selection, especially at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. Thus, in the future there will be graduates from As-Syifa who continue their studies at Fikom Unpad. Furthermore, remarks from representatives of Labschool Rawamangun Jakarta High School, he expressed his gratitude for the welcome given by Fikom Unpad. This visit or ‘goes to campus‘ is an activity or place to dig up information as a preparation point for students before stepping into college. Therefore, it is hoped that through this visit, information related to admission selection, student activities, and in-depth information about study programs at Fikom Unpad can be explored more deeply.

The next agenda was the screening of Fikom Unpad’s profile video and the introduction of study programs, media, and student activities delivered by the Head of the Public Relations Laboratory. The activity continued with the delivery of information about student activities and study programs packaged through discussion sessions. The academic and non-academic discussion sessions were hosted by Putra Putri Padjadjaran Fikom 2022, Kang Kian and Teh Amiira, as well as Fikom Unpad students Asep Supriyatna from the public relations study program and Thia Charisma from the communication science study program. At the end of the visit, the session was closed by giving souvenirs from both parties and a group photo session. (TC/DM)
