QORDOVA High School visited Fikom Unpad as part of the ‘Goes to Campus’ program.
The Faculty of Communication Sciences of Universitas Padjadjaran received a visit from Qordova High School on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 09.30-11.00 WIB in Oemi Room Building 1 Fikom Unpad. This visit was in the context of Goes to Campuswhich is an annual agenda of QORDOVA High School. There were 52 participants consisting of teachers and students.
Manager of Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni Relations of Fikom Unpad Agus Setiaman, S. Sos., M.I.Kom in his speech welcomed teachers and students of Qordova High School at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. He explained that the campus conditions were still quiet because the lectures were carried out by hybrid, where some lectures are conducted face-to-face on campus with restrictions and application of health protocols and expressed gratitude for the visit and attention from Qordova High School which is the first visit after the pandemic for two years.
Furthermore, Mrs. Desi Wulandari as a representative of Qordova High School expressed her gratitude to Fikom Unpad for the warm welcome. He explained the purpose of the visit to Fikom Unpad, namely to increase student learning motivation by showing students that the world is still vast and there is still a long way to go. In addition, to introduce the campus environment so that students understand the many things that need to be explored from higher education. At the end of his remarks, he expressed his hope that the visit to Fikom Unpad could bring information related to higher education and hopefully become input for students to continue to a higher level.
The next event was the screening of Fikom Unpad’s profile video and the delivery of material about Fikom Unpad’s study programs, media, and student activities by the Head of the Public Relations Laboratory Renata Anisa, S.Sos, M.M. In the discussion session, Mr. Agus Setiaman explained that the educational process undergoes various changes in line with the demands and conditions that occur, including the use of technology in the context of learning. He also conveyed various information regarding new student admissions, scholarship programs, tuition fees, and Fikom Unpad curriculum.
