Welcoming the 62nd Anniversary of Fikom Unpad held “Fikom Gratitude and Sharing”
Faculty of Communication Sciences Universitas Padjadjaran held Fikom Bersyukur and Berbagi on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 09.00 -11.00 WIB in a hybrid manner at the Postgraduate Auditorium of Fikom Unpad and through a zoom meeting. This activity was one of a series of 62nd Anniversary activities of Fikom Unpad which was attended by more than 150 Fikom Unpad academicians.

Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran Dr. Dadang Rahmat Hidayat, S.Sos., S.H., M.Si. in his speech expressed his gratitude to the academic community who had attended and to all donors who participated in Fikom Berbagi. “Alhamduliah we can gather together to be grateful for the 62nd Anniversary of Fikom Unpad, in this Fikom sharing event we will convey what we have collected and give it to friends, both those in the faculty and outside” he said.

The event continued with a tausyiah delivered by Ustadz Budi Prayitno, in his tausiyah he explained that there were 3 aspects of charity success. The first is with a sincere intention, because the intention will determine the value of charity in the view of Allah. Intention determines direction, intention will affect the strength to persist in the process of achieving goals. In Al hadith it is said that every deed depends on the intention, everyone will get what he intends (HR Bukhari and Muslim). Secondly, with sufficient knowledge, it is said that knowledge is a condition for the correctness of words and actions. A deed without knowledge is like the deed of a person who has lost his mind, and the pen is taken away from him (not recorded). Allah will elevate those who believe among you and those who are given knowledge several degrees (QS Al Mujadalah verse 11). Third, istiqomah Charity, it is said in Surah Hud verse 112 “So be istiqomah (keep you on the right path), as it was commanded to you and (also) those who have repented with you and do not exceed the limits. Verily, He sees what you do. “May we always do things with the intention of Allah SWT, with sufficient knowledge and always istiqomah,” he said at the end of the tausyiah.
The next event was the report of the Chairperson of the 62nd Anniversary of Fikom Unpad Dr. Trie Damayanti, M.Si., she explained that the donations collected at “Fikom Berbagi” were in the form of money, decent clothes, school book packages, story books, comics, 160 basic food packages from Perum Bulog, children’s food, and cooking oil packages. The donations that have been collected are distributed to parking attendants, security officers, janitors, bidikmisi students, canteen guards, and to the Sinar Fadilah Rancaekek Orphanage Foundation.

The activity was closed by handing over donations by the Dean of Fikom Unpad and representatives from Perum Bulog to representatives of the Foundation, students, security officers, parking, cleaning and continued with a group photo. (DM)
