Fikom Unpad received a visit from SMAN Agam Cendekia West Sumatra
The Faculty of Communication Sciences of Universitas Padjadjaran received a visit from SMAN Agam Cendekia West Sumatra on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 09.00 WIB in the Auditoriuim Postgraduate Room of Fikom Unpad. This visit was in the framework of a “Study Tour” to get information about the world of education and increase student interest in continuing their studies to Higher Education. There were 52 participants who attended this visit, consisting of teachers and students.
Manager of Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni Relations of Fikom Unpad Agus Setiaman, S. Sos., M.I.Kom in his speech welcomed the teachers and students of SMAN Agam Cendekia at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. “It is an honor for us to receive guests from afar, we are very happy for the presence of teachers and students directly” he said. He hopes that this visit can provide an overview of higher education studies to students, especially about Fikom Unpad, so that students are more confident to choose the desired faculty. Hopefully this visit will not be the last, but after this a better relationship can be established.
Furthermore, Mr. Bayu as a representative of SMAN Agam Cendekia expressed his gratitude to Fikom Unpad for the warm welcome, time, and opportunity. He explained that the purpose of the visit to Fikom Unpad was in the context of a “Study Tour” so that students could get inspiration, find out the study programs offered, the new student admission system, and the facilities owned by Fikom Unpad.
The next activity was the screening of Fikom Unpad’s profile video and the delivery of material regarding study programs, media, and student activities of Fikom Unpad by the Head of the Public Relations Laboratory Renata Anisa, S.Sos, M.M. In the discussion session, Mr. Agus Setiaman conveyed various information related to new student admissions, scholarship programs, tuition fees, and Fikom Unpad curriculum. The activity continued with giving souvenirs, group photos, and a tour of the Television Laboratory and Photography Laboratory.(DM)
