‘Study Tour Goes to Campus’ SMA Budi Cendekia Islamic School visits Fikom Unpad
Faculty of Communication Sciences Universitas Padjadjaran received a visit from SMA Budi Cendekia Islamic School on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 09.00 WIB in Oemi Abdurachman room Fikom Unpad. This visit is the first visit for students, this activity is in the framework of “Study Tour Goes to Campus” to add insight and knowledge in stabilizing choosing the right majors and study programs at State Universities. There were 60 participants who participated in this activity consisting of teachers and students.
Manager of Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni Relations of Fikom Unpad Agus Setiaman, S. Sos., M.I.Kom in his speech welcomed the teachers and students of Budi Cendekia Islamic School High School at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran. He said that Fikom Unpad is currently one of the Faculties of Communication Science in Indonesia which accepts new students from various disciplines, both science and social studies. He also revealed, through this visit it is hoped that it can provide direct information related to Communication Science and hopefully get the information as expected.
Furthermore, Mr. Deni as a representative of SMA Budi Cendekia Islamic School expressed his gratitude to Fikom Unpad for the extraordinarily warm welcome. He conveyed the purpose and objective of visiting Fikom, namely in order to find out and provide experience to students who need information about how to enter Higher Education. So it is hoped that this visit can also be an opportunity to get more information and in the future graduates of Budi Cendekia Islamic School High School can continue their education at Unpad, especially at Fikom Unpad.
The visit agenda was continued with the screening of Fikom Unpad’s profile video and an introduction to study programs, media, and student activities delivered by the Head of the Public Relations Laboratory Renata Anisa, S.Sos, M.M. The next activity was a discussion session about each study program and student activities that were academic and non-academic by Putra Putri Padjadjaran Fikom 2022 Kian and Amira, as well as several Fikom Unpad students from various study programs. This activity was closed with an exchange of souvenirs and a group photo session. (DM/TC)
